Dinakdakan Recipe (Kuya's Version) Dinakdakan ay paboritong ulam or pulutan ng mga taga Northern Luzon, particularly ang mga Ilocano's at Ibanag. Karaniwang inihahanda ito sa mga ispesyal na okasyon tulad ng birthday, piestahan,  kasalan o maging pang araw-araw na ulam. SIMPLE PERO MASARAP..! How to cook Gising-Gising or Winged Beans Main ingredients: 1/2 kg. winged beans or sigarilyas - cut into small pieces 1/4 kg. pork - cut thinly 1-1.5 cups of coconut milk ground black pepper 1 pc. Pork Knorr Cubes 1 tsp. salt 1 onion - chopped 3 cloves garlic - minced 2-3 siling labuyo- hot pepper Procedure: 1.) Saute Pork with Onions and Garlic. 2.) Add ground black pepper. 3.) wait for pork to turn little bit brown. 4.) add coconut milk. 5.) add little bit more water if you think its not enough. it depends on the amount of winged beans or sigarilyas (estimate). 6.) then add the Pork Knorr Cubes & salt to taste. 7.) simmer for few minutes. 8.) when it boils, add the chopped winged beans or sigarilyas. Mix all together. 9.) add siling labuyo. 10.) simmer again for more or less 5 minutes waiting for winged beans or sigarilyas become tender. 11.) check the winged beans or sigarilyas if already tender from time to time. 12.) if winged beans or sigari...

How to cook PORK MENUDO

PORK MENUDO Ingredients: 1kg. Pork - cut into cubes 1kg. Pork Liver - cut into cubes 2 sachet Tomato Paste 2-3 medium size Carrots - cut into small cubes 2-3 medium size Potato - cut into cubes Ground Black Pepper Salt Water Maggi Magic Sarap (optional) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Procedure: 1.) Saute Pork with Onions and garlic. 2.) add little bit of salt and Maggi Magic Sarap. (Maggi Magic Sarap is optional) you can use either msg. or just salt it depends on your taste - add Ground Black Pepper too. mix and wait until the pork turn into brown. Then add the Pork Liver mix them well, wait for another few minutes for the Pork Liver to be cooked. 3.) add Potatos and carrots mix well. Cover if possible. (pan cover is just not available at the moment) 4.) add 2 sachet of Tomato Paste. Mix them well again. add about 4 cups of water. Continue mixing because Tomato Paste is too thick....

This style usually used in Rural Areas.     Simple and easy. how to cook Rice without Rice Cooker We Need: Pot Rice Water Procedure: 1.) measure how many cups of rice you wanna cook (for now i will cook 3 cups, good for 3 persons. 2.) wash the rice properly. 3.) broil and simmer for more or less 20 minutes. 4.) after 20 minutes. Rice already cooked. 5.) Ready to eat..! 6.) Enjoy!

MY VERSION OF COOKING PORK DINUGUAN (ilocano style)

PORK DINUGUAN (ilocano version) Ingredients: 1 kg. pork meat cut small cubes 5-6 cups of pork blood 1/2 cup of flour (will be mixed with the blood) 1/4 cup of vinegar (mixed with the pork blood) 1 pc. pork knorr cubes 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 2 pcs green chili 4 tbs. cooking oil 2 pcs onions chop (divide into 2) 5 cloves garlic minced (divide into 2) pinced of salt to taste Procedure: 1.) Saute Pork first with Chopped Onions and Garlic. 2.) add Ground Black Pepper mix and cover. 3.) check from time to time, wait for Pork to turned golden brown/crispy. When it's done set aside. 4.) Get another wok/pan. Pork Blood will be cooked separately. 5.) Saute Pork Blood with onions and garlic. Note: Pour and Mixed the Vinegar ahead of time before cooking. Flour or Cornstarch should be mixed to the Pork Blood to make it thicker. 6.) Continuous stirring until Pork Blood will be cooked. Fire should be in medium to low. 7.) Add Pork Knorr Cubes and continue...
